I’ve been teaching English and IELTS prep for nearly a decade, over that time I’ve experienced how rewarding it can be to see my students achieve their IELTS goals.
IELTS opens so many doors around the world and I’m always excited to help candidates reach their potential.
While teaching, I taught myself to code; over the last few years I have built this website, as well as two IELTS Android apps.

I studied English at university, and have spent the last 12 years teaching General English, Academic English and IELTS Preparation.
I have extensive experience in classroom and online teaching and am deeply sensitive to the needs of individual learners.
Helping people achieve their IELTS goals, thus enabling them to work or study abroad, is extremely rewarding and teaching has given me the opportunity to meet and help lots of wonderful people from all over the world.
Paul Williams
Since obtaining a CELTA qualification in 2015, I have been teaching General, Business and Academic English, along with preparation for IELTS, University Admissions and Job Interviews.
IELTS allows people to achieve their dreams of moving abroad and being able to assist students in this process is extremely fulfilling.
Teaching a variety of nationalities is something I embrace, as well as the unique challenges that are presented with each student.

I Improved my IELTS with with Tom
I am so happy to my IElTS prep done here with Tom. He helped me alot in my study plan and I improved in all my sections. I wrote my IELTS twice and I couldn’t improve in listening and reading. Tom organised alot of mock exams for me which helped my reading and listening jump by 1.5.In addition, Tom was so kind enough to help review my scholarship essays together with his wife. For those who seek for REAL PROGRESS
I had one hour class so far and I can assure you that 60 minutes can make a HUGE difference. Rather than spending weeks on learning what you already know and constantly making the same mistakes over and over don’t lead you anywhere. However, spotting your weakness areas, and learning how to fix them has been proved to be the best method for the sake of learning.
Teacher Sam is very patient, passionate and friendly, and I definitely recommend his one-to-one classes

As a working adult, I have limited time to prepare for my GT Ielts test. Ietltstutors.org and its online courses were essential for my Writing preparation. I liked its comprehensiveness and bite-size slides and quiz-based approach, which allows student to absorb and reinforce the knowledge very well. In my final weeks, I had 3 over-Skype sessions with Sam to help with my Speaking, which I believe is my weakest link. His guidance, detailed feedback and tips for dealing with test stress were valuable and effective in helping me performing to my best during test day. Sam was an excellent teacher/coach. I ‘d say the site and his coaching were worth at least 1 band score for my Writing and Speaking skills. I highly recommend Ieltstutors.org, its courses and services.
