I’ve been teaching English and IELTS prep for nearly a decade, over that time I’ve experienced how rewarding it can be to see my students achieve their IELTS goals.
IELTS opens so many doors around the world and I’m always excited to help candidates reach their potential.
While teaching, I taught myself to code; over the last few years I have built this website, as well as two IELTS Android apps.

I studied English at university, and have spent the last 12 years teaching General English, Academic English and IELTS Preparation.
I have extensive experience in classroom and online teaching and am deeply sensitive to the needs of individual learners.
Helping people achieve their IELTS goals, thus enabling them to work or study abroad, is extremely rewarding and teaching has given me the opportunity to meet and help lots of wonderful people from all over the world.

Since obtaining a CELTA qualification in 2015, I have been teaching General, Business and Academic English, along with preparation for IELTS, University Admissions and Job Interviews.
IELTS allows people to achieve their dreams of moving abroad and being able to assist students in this process is extremely fulfilling.

I greatly recommend online lessons with Ielts tutors, especially Chis.
I was stuck at band 6.5 in writing (two times) and needed to get band 7.0 in one week.
Chris helped me understand what was my problem and went through important things with me related to writing task 1 and writing task 2. Writing can be especially hard to navigate as it is considered to be one of the hardest IELTS categories.
With great help though, nothing is impossible.
Absolutely amazing
Before taking classes here, I took the IELTS GT 3 times and every time I got 6.5 in writing. However, after taking few hours with Chris Cox, he was able to identify the problems I had with my writing and easily after I was able to get a 7.5 in writing.

Very helpful lessons!
I started 1 to 1 classes in order to improve my band score for Writing from 7.0 to 7.5. After 6 lessons with Tom spread over 4 weeks, in which we practiced answering different types of essay questions and letters, I scored 8.0 for Writing. Tom was a great teacher, very friendly, professional, positive and helpful. His feedback on my homework essays was specific and positive, and he always provided me with the necessary information and examples to improve a certain grammatical difficulty. My most important lesson was that it is important to envision a clear structure for the task and fully develop ideas and support them with arguments. I definitely felt a lot of improvement over the course of 4 weeks. For me, these lessons were exactly what I needed in order to reach my goal. Thank you Tom!

A higher score than I needed
After several attempts at the IELTS test and not receiving the required score on the writing part repeatedly, I figured I needed tuition. I found IELTS tutors online and had a really good experience.
My tutor gave me very useful feedback on my writing during multiple online sessions and I received certain tips and tricks to achieve an even higher score than I needed. I ended up with a 7.5 on writing.

Hi Sam. I am proud to tell you that I passed the IELTS with an overall of 6.5. I obtained a band score of 6.0 in the writing part and 6.5 in the speaking part of the exam respectively.
